blame it all on donnie darko

2011

A short play reflecting a dispersed contemporary reality.

Blame it all on Donnie Darko is a contemporary post-dramatic play that reflects dispersed reality within the content and also the form. There are no characters in the traditional sense, there are just multiple voices from society. The play is an avalanche of critical points in the world, such as wars, sexism, bureaucratic absurdity, domestic violence, poverty and many others, smoothly interlaced in a subtle, witty and critical entirety.

loving willy

2005

A short play depicting a love triangle, culminating with a verbal confrontation between both women waiting for Willy, who locked himself in the bathroom.

Willy decided to take a break from the tedious burdens of being the object of contention for two women, and found shelter in the bathroom of the restaurant he works in. Both Ann and Joan try to convince him to come out and by doing so, reveal the circumstances behind his frustrations and the complex nature of their relationships. The fight escalates and at one point Joan threatens to decline signing the divorce papers, which would prevent Willy and Ann to lead the life they supposedly want. At the height of the confrontation, Willy walks out of the lavatory without even being noticed, and the women continue their quest to persuade him to come out, without ever realizing that he is no longer there.
